Nahyan Bin Mubarak Attends Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church Christmas Celebrations In Abu Dhabi
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, joined the Christmas celebrations organised by the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church in Abu Dhabi. The event saw participation from various intellectuals, religious figures, diplomats, and community leaders.
During his address at the gathering, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak expressed optimism for a new year filled with goodwill, security, and happiness worldwide. He remarked on the joy of celebrating the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt. "As I share with you the joy of this glorious occasion, I am delighted to celebrate tonight the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt. As you know, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, we take great pride in the contributions of the Egyptian community in every field," he stated.
He further highlighted the cherished bond of fraternity and love shared with Egypt's leadership and people. "We always cherish our strong bond of fraternity, love, and joy with Egypt, its leadership, and its people. In the UAE, we extend our heartfelt wishes for Egypt’s continued prosperity, progress, and growth under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi," he added.
The minister conveyed warm congratulations to both President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on behalf of those present. He expressed deep appreciation for their dedication to nurturing a robust relationship between Egypt and the UAE. "As we celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas here in Abu Dhabi, I am honoured to convey, on your behalf, warm congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the new year. I also express our deep appreciation for their unwavering commitment to fostering the robust and constructive relationship between Egypt and the UAE," he said.
Sheikh Nahyan also emphasised that the UAE is committed to ensuring a dignified life for all residents regardless of their religion or beliefs. This commitment is within a framework that promotes tolerance and coexistence while upholding values like fraternity and communication for everyone's benefit.
