Muslim Council Of Elders' Female Envoys Enhance Global Tolerance And Coexistence Efforts
For the first time, the Muslim Council of Elders included female envoys in their Ramadan convoys this year. This initiative aims to strengthen connections with Muslim women globally. These envoys help clarify religious issues, correct misconceptions, and promote Islamic values. They also encourage moderate thinking and positive community integration. Women in these communities have expressed gratitude for the Council's efforts under Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb's leadership.
In Italy, a female envoy organised events in La Città, Brescia, and Oggiono. These activities focused on helping Muslim women integrate positively while maintaining their identity. They highlighted women's roles in family building and societal development, promoting tolerance and peace. Lectures covered worship jurisprudence, personal status, and spiritual support topics.

In Spain, another female envoy delivered lectures at Madrid's Al-Noor Mosque. These sessions emphasised the honour Islam grants women, their elevated status, and the encouragement of kindness towards them. The lectures highlighted women's significant role in nation-building and fostering peaceful coexistence.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia, a female envoy organised events at Jakarta's Istiqlal Mosque attended by thousands of women and students. She visited academic institutions to discuss the Quran's role in shaping mothers' characters and its impact on future generations. Her lectures also addressed women's status in Islam and their nurturing roles.
The Muslim Council of Elders' envoys continue spreading correct Islamic teachings during Ramadan for the second year. They combat extremist thoughts and correct misconceptions through missions involving over 32 male and female envoys across nine countries: Spain, Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and the United States.
These envoys lead prayers, recite the Quran, and conduct lessons and seminars as part of their missions. The Council aims to highlight religious diplomacy's importance in promoting peace through dialogue and tolerance.
The inclusion of female envoys has been well-received by communities worldwide. Their efforts are crucial in fostering understanding among Muslim women globally while promoting moderate Islamic values.
