Muslim Council Of Elders To Participate In Tunis Book Fair 2024 With Over 160 Publications

For the first time in its history, the Muslim Council of Elders is making a significant appearance at the 38th edition of the Foire Internationale du Livre de Tunis. This event, taking place from 19th to 28th April at the Parc Des Expositions Du Kram in Tunis, Tunisia, marks a pivotal moment for the Council as it showcases over 160 publications. These works span various languages and delve into critical intellectual and cultural issues. The aim is to address and correct misconceptions while promoting a narrative of enlightened moderate thinking that stands against extremism, racism, hatred, and discrimination.

The Council's involvement in this prestigious event underscores its dedication to fostering peace, dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence. It also highlights the Council's efforts to enhance cooperation among individuals of diverse races and beliefs. Among the standout contributions are over 30 books authored by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders. These publications illuminate the tolerance and richness of Islamic heritage with titles such as "Al Qawl Al Tayeb" and "From My Old Notebooks," among others.
