Explore Emerging Careers In Sustainability At Museum Of The Future Workshops
The Museum of the Future is set to host two engaging workshops on 30th June, 2024, focusing on 'Jobs of the Future'. These sessions will delve into career opportunities within the sustainability sector.
In collaboration with the ‘School of Humanity’, these workshops are led by field experts to offer valuable insights and guidance. The programme will cover key careers such as AgriTech specialists and sustainability consultants.

Participants will have a unique chance for career discovery through hands-on experiences. They will engage in simulated projects that mirror the roles and duties of future professions.
The first workshop, titled 'Mastering the Skills of a Sustainable Consultant', addresses the growing challenges posed by climate change. Sustainability consultants are crucial in guiding global organisations towards sustainable practices.
This session, facilitated by Sustainability Consultant Saasha Gulamani, runs from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Museum of the Future. Participants will explore climate change causes and consequences and understand the importance of climate change experts today.
The workshop concludes with a simulation activity where attendees hone their skills through real-world case studies.
Unveiling the Role of an AgriTech Specialist
The second workshop, 'Unveiling the Future Role of an AgriTech Specialist', focuses on food security. Many countries are adopting vertical and indoor farming to boost production and enhance food supplies.
This session takes place from 13:30 to 14:30 and allows participants to explore new agricultural technology methods. Attendees will also engage in a mini-hackathon addressing a food security challenge in the UAE.
These workshops provide an invaluable opportunity for participants to gain practical experience and insights into future careers within the sustainability sector.
