In a significant move towards enhancing the smart city landscape of Qatar, Msheireb Properties, a forefront developer of sustainable properties, has joined forces with Schneider Electric, a pioneer in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. An MoU was officially signed by the two entities, setting the stage for a collaborative effort to elevate the smart city capabilities of Msheire Downtown Doha (MDD).
The partnership aims to harness Schneider Electric's extensive expertise in digital automation and energy management. A pivotal element of this collaboration is the initiation of a three-month Proof of Concept (POC) project, which Schneider Electric will spearhead. This project is designed to demonstrate the prowess of Smart City Integration platforms, focusing on several key areas. These include traffic management, proactive and predictive maintenance for corporate tenants, predictive analysis for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) facilities, and corrective decision-making processes to address the needs of individual residents promptly.

Eng. He emphasized that this collaboration is a strategic move towards embracing sustainable, energy-saving solutions, leveraging data analytics, and artificial intelligence to offer seamless experiences for visitors and tenants alike.

Jarouche stressed the importance of creating living and working spaces that are sustainable, connected, and responsive to the needs of their inhabitants.
