Moro Hub Awards National Bonds Green Certificate For Sustainable Practices

Moro Hub, part of Digital DEWA under Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), awarded a Green Certificate to National Bonds. This certificate was given to Naru Srinivasan, Group Chief Operating Officer at National Bonds, by Mohammed Almalik, Chief Information Security Officer at Moro Hub. The recognition highlights the company's choice of Moro Hub's Green Data Centres for their IT needs.

The Green Certificate acknowledges that National Bonds will cut carbon emissions by 67,205 KgCO2e from March 1, 2022, to May 17, 2025. This reduction is achieved through the use of Moro Hub’s eco-friendly data centres. These centres are recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest solar-powered data facility globally.

National Bonds Receives Green Certificate from Moro Hub

Moro Hub’s Green Data Centre includes a Smart Cities Command and Control Centre. This facility supports government and business clients in adopting modern digital technologies swiftly. "National Bonds' commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility is commendable," stated Mohammed bin Sulaiman, CEO of Moro Hub.

He added that choosing Moro Hub's facilities contributes to a greener future while embracing advanced technology. This partnership showcases how conscious decisions in the digital realm can foster a sustainable legacy for future generations.

The Green Certificate symbolises businesses' collective efforts in adopting eco-friendly practices. Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, Group CEO of National Bonds, expressed pride in receiving this recognition.

He emphasised that using Moro Hub’s centres not only reduces their carbon footprint but also aligns with the UAE’s vision for a greener future.
