MoIAT Launches Innovative Digital Platforms To Enhance Growth And Attract Foreign Investment At GITEX Global

The UAE's Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, has unveiled the ministry's revamped interactive website at the 44th GITEX Global event. This digital platform offers advanced search tools in multiple languages and a live customer support service to enhance user experience and simplify access to services.

During his visit to GITEX Global, Dr. Al Jaber toured various stands, including those of Emirates Development Bank, Abu Dhabi Government, Dubai Government, Etisalat, Du, Nvidia, and Huawei. He was briefed on their digital solutions and initiatives in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital empowerment.

MoIAT Unveils Digital Solutions at GITEX

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) is showcasing its online services at GITEX Global. These services aim to boost the industrial and technological sectors' growth in line with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology (Operation 300bn). The ministry is also conducting workshops on AI, cybersecurity, compliance, and strategies for success in a changing business landscape.

Dr. Al Jaber was introduced to the demo version of the UAE Integrated Industrial Dashboard, Aloum Al Senaa. This project aims to empower decision-makers by collecting and analysing data to support industrial sector growth. It highlights investment opportunities and aids leaders in making informed decisions.

Omar Al Suwaidi, Under-Secretary of MoIAT, stated that their participation in GITEX Global aligns with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology's goals. The strategy focuses on innovation, adopting advanced technology, and digitising services for investors and companies to boost local competitiveness regionally and internationally.

"Under MoIAT’s strategic direction to promote sustainable industrial growth," said Omar Al Suwaidi. "The ministry focuses on improving the customer experience and providing data and information to assist in decision-making." He added that MoIAT is committed to enhancing investor journeys to create a business-friendly environment that attracts foreign investments.

The new website will help stakeholders access services more flexibly through advanced search tools. This aligns with MoIAT's strategic efforts to offer proactive and efficient service levels. The ministry aims to provide data that assists decision-making related to digital transformation.
