MoIAT And MCBG Establish Strategic Partnership To Enhance Regulatory Excellence In The UAE

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Multinational Companies Business Group (MCBG). This agreement aims to boost collaboration in standardisation, technical regulations, and capacity building. These areas are crucial for the UAE's industrial and economic growth. The MoU was signed during the Make it in the Emirates forum by Dr. Farah Al Zarooni from MoIAT and Turki Bin Moammar from MCBG.

This partnership highlights a mutual dedication to improving regulatory cooperation and creating a business environment that aligns with top international standards. The agreement includes initiatives like expert exchanges, capacity-building programs, participation in standardisation committees, and innovation-driven projects.

Dr. Farah Al Zarooni commented on the partnership, stating, "This agreement underscores our commitment to deepening engagement with the private sector, particularly with global industry leaders operating in the UAE. Turki Bin Moammar also expressed pride in collaborating with MoIAT. This MoU affirms our dedication to contributing to the UAE’s industrial and economic progress through meaningful dialogue and partnership."

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organisations, highlighting its importance for the nation's industrial landscape. MCBG represents a global market capitalisation exceeding US$12 trillion, offering expertise across sectors like manufacturing, energy, technology, healthcare, and consumer goods.
