MoHRE Introduces Comprehensive Domestic Worker Services On Work Bundle Platform For Enhanced Efficiency

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced new Domestic Worker Services on the Work Bundle platform. This initiative is in collaboration with several entities, including the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. The launch aligns with the UAE's Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which aims to streamline services and enhance customer experience.

These services encompass issuing, renewing, and cancelling residency visas for domestic workers in the UAE. Additionally, medical examination services are available through the unified digital platform 'Work in UAE' (workinuae.ae). Customers can access these services by completing a standardised form and providing necessary worker details like identification and passport copies.

The platform allows users to electronically sign employment contracts, schedule medical exams, receive test results, and issue Emirates IDs and residency visas. Khalil Ibrahim Khoori from MoHRE highlighted the cooperation among partners in expanding the Work Bundle to include these services. "This initiative satisfies the requirements of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme," he stated.

Khalil Ibrahim Khoori further noted that launching these services continues the success seen with previous initiatives on platforms like 'Invest in Dubai' and DubaiNow. These efforts demonstrate the UAE's commitment to leading in integrated government services by investing in digital solutions and artificial intelligence.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili emphasised the strategic direction of offering integrated service bundles. He described the Work Bundle as a model for cooperation among government entities that enhances service delivery while simplifying processes for customers. "Cutting down channels improves quality of life," he explained.

Al Khaili also praised efforts to achieve electronic integration between government entities. This integration allows citizens and residents to complete transactions through a single platform with straightforward procedures that protect all parties involved.

Innovative Digital Solutions

The Work Bundle offers a seamless user experience by providing highly integrated digital solutions for managing worker-related services. Key features include a standardised application form and a unified payment solution shared by all relevant entities. Users only need to enter their information once, reducing paperwork and eliminating in-person visits.

Advanced data exchange mechanisms ensure proactive service delivery through platforms like the Government Services Bus (GSB) and UAE PASS. This approach not only saves time but also reduces governmental burdens while meeting Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme targets.

This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing government efficiency and competitiveness, reinforcing the UAE's position as an ideal global destination for living and working.
