MoHRE Introduces Digital Wallet To Streamline Corporate Financial Services In The UAE

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), in partnership with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, has introduced the "Digital Wallet." This initiative is part of the UAE's strategy to digitise government services comprehensively. The wallet enables corporate clients to pay for MoHRE services and settle fees instantly. By integrating the Ministry with the bank, it offers seamless financial services, enhancing efficiency and adding value for users.

Mohammed Saqr Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at MoHRE, urged companies to register for the "Digital Wallet" through MoHRE’s platforms using the "Electronic Wallet Registration for Companies" service. Once registration is approved by the bank, companies can start using the wallet for payments. He noted that this launch marks the first phase of the service, which will eventually include multiple banking options.

MoHRE Launches New Digital Wallet Service

This expansion aims to support financial inclusion and aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to improve labour market efficiency, ease business operations, and enhance competitiveness. These efforts are intended to strengthen the UAE's position as a prime destination for investment and business activities. The Ministry is committed to advancing digital transformation and integrating various entities under its Zero Bureaucracy programme.

The programme focuses on streamlining business processes and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This initiative reinforces the UAE's leadership in government services, digital transformation, and integrated service delivery. The Ministry has made significant strides in digital transformation and artificial intelligence integration, boosting its services and establishing itself as a pioneer in government innovation.

In 2024, MoHRE completed over 34 million smart transactions for customers, marking a 59% increase from 2023. It has received numerous awards for its efficient approach to reducing government bureaucracy through innovative solutions. The Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme achieved a 100% completion rate for 52 services in its second phase after completing its first phase.

This accomplishment led to a significant reduction in transaction times from 30 working days to just five days. Some services are now available instantly, reducing required visits and highlighting the substantial digital transformation of government services. These efforts underscore MoHRE's commitment to enhancing service delivery through technology.

The introduction of multiple banking options will further support financial inclusion while aligning with broader strategies aimed at improving labour market efficiency and business attractiveness. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to consolidate the UAE’s status as a leading hub for investment by enhancing ease of doing business.
