MoHRE Showcases Innovative 'Ask Data' Project To Enhance Digital Transformation At GITEX Global 2025
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) introduced its 'Ask Data' initiative at GITEX Global 2025. This project exemplifies digital transformation through artificial intelligence. It aims to assist MoHRE staff, improve data access, and support informed decision-making in the labour market. This framework helps regulate labour and offers exceptional services to customers.
The AI-driven system provides several benefits for the Ministry's employees. It offers an interactive way to explore the Application Programming Interfaces (API) Catalogue. Staff can ask questions and receive immediate, accurate responses about data across various integration interfaces and technical details. The system also allows exploration of over 100 electronic integrations with more than 60 federal, local, and private entities, making data access easier.

Reeham Al Mutawa, MoHRE's Data Management Director, stated that the 'Ask Data' project demonstrates the Ministry's leadership in digital transformation aligned with the UAE’s Digital Government vision and Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. "It is a qualitative leap forward in how Ministry employees interact with digital integration data, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling faster, more precise, and more competitive service delivery—ultimately improving the internal user experience and reinforcing the Ministry’s aspirations for digital leadership," she said.
The project speeds up information access and boosts operational efficiency through automated processes using advanced AI technologies. By offering a comprehensive view of available digital capabilities, it supports data-driven decision-making. This enhances employees' ability to analyse data effectively and make strategic decisions.
The 'Ask Data' initiative embodies MoHRE’s vision for smart transformation. It showcases how AI can enhance institutional performance. As one of six innovative projects displayed at GITEX Global 2025, it highlights MoHRE's dedication to staying abreast of technological trends while introducing its initiatives to both local and international audiences.
This project not only improves internal operations but also aligns with broader governmental goals for digital advancement. By integrating AI into their processes, MoHRE sets a benchmark for other institutions aiming for similar transformations.
Overall, 'Ask Data' represents a significant step towards modernising how government entities operate in the UAE. It underscores MoHRE's commitment to leveraging technology for better service delivery and operational excellence.
