MoHAP Becomes First Federal Entity To Achieve GInI’s Highest Certification For Innovation Excellence

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has achieved significant recognition by receiving the highest certification from the Global Innovation Institute (GInI). This accolade, known as the Certified Innovative Government Organisation—Excellence Level, highlights MoHAP's commitment to innovation. Additionally, MoHAP is the first federal entity to receive accreditation for an Accelerator Programme from GInI.

These recognitions underscore MoHAP's dedication to implementing top international standards in organisational innovation. By adopting global best practices, the Ministry aims to enhance its innovation framework and develop national talents. This approach has led to improvements in health services quality, reinforcing the UAE's status as a leading destination for sustainable innovation.

MoHAP Attains GInI’s Top Innovation Certification

MoHAP has also secured ISO 56002 certification in innovation management. This achievement acknowledges the Ministry's success in enhancing innovation processes and competitiveness. Such efforts are crucial for fostering a strong organisational culture of innovation, which boosts MoHAP’s reputation and supports sustainable growth.

Salem Al Darmaki, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Prevention, accepted these certificates on behalf of Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama. The ceremony took place in Dubai with Mohannad Shaheen from GInI presenting the awards. Saqr Al Humairi and Wedad Bu Humaid were also present at this event.

Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama expressed gratitude for these achievements, attributing them to the UAE government's vision of becoming one of the most innovative nations globally by 2071. He emphasised that MoHAP prioritises integrating advanced innovations into its programmes in line with the National Strategy for Advanced Innovation.

"The remarkable achievements we have made would not have been possible had it not been for the UAE government's commitment to positioning the country as one of the most innovative nations in the world, in line with the UAE Centennial 2071," stated Dr. Al Olama.

Future Healthcare Investments

The Ministry is investing in future healthcare through an integrated ecosystem that combines national expertise, advanced technologies, and global partnerships. Dr. Al Olama highlighted their goal to lead health sector transformation with innovative solutions that meet future generations' needs.

Saqr Al Humairi remarked on receiving these prestigious certificates: "Receiving these two prestigious innovation certificates adds yet another feather to the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s cap."

Recognition from Global Innovation Institute

Mohammed Ahmed Dabwan from GInI praised MoHAP's progress in adopting innovative solutions that improve service efficiency and impact. He noted that this achievement places MoHAP among leading organisations committed to sustainable development within the health sector.
