Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Explores National Identity Exhibition At UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the "National Identity: Legacy and Responsibility" exhibition. This event was part of the UAE Government Annual Meetings in Abu Dhabi. Accompanying him were H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The exhibition provided an interactive platform to celebrate national achievements while emphasising the UAE's cultural heritage and core values. It highlighted the accomplishments of government bodies in improving services, enhancing quality of life, and paving the way for a smart, sustainable future.
Participants at the exhibition were encouraged to choose one of six pillars of the UAE National Identity to which they could contribute through their work. They added symbolic representations or personal messages to express their commitment to these pillars.
The contributions from participants culminated in an interactive sculpture that showcased the diverse community pledges across all pillars. This sculpture symbolised the collective momentum and engagement from various sectors.
The exhibition also detailed the National Identity Strategy, outlining its pillars, focus areas, and key initiatives. The aim was to inspire participants to incorporate these principles into both governmental and community practices, aligning with the event's message of fostering collaboration for progress.
This initiative provided a comprehensive understanding of how national identity can be integrated into everyday practices. It encouraged a participatory approach among attendees to drive development within their respective fields.
