Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Highlights Dubai's Maritime Hub At International Boat Show 2025

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, recently attended the 31st Dubai International Boat Show. The event, held at Dubai Harbour until 23 February, is organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre. It showcases over 1,000 brands from more than 60 countries and features over 200 yachts and watercraft.

Accompanying His Highness was H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. His Highness emphasised the show's role in enhancing Dubai's reputation as a premier maritime hub. He stated: "The Dubai International Boat Show underscores Dubai’s status as a global hub for yachting and a leading destination for maritime tourism."

During his visit, His Highness toured various exhibitor stands with Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council. They visited Gulf Craft's stand, where new luxury vessels were unveiled.

The show continues to grow alongside advancements in the maritime sector. This year introduces new features like the Brokerage Section for pre-owned yachts and the Innovation Hub supporting startups in maritime technology. These additions reinforce its status as a leader in innovation and industry collaboration.

His Highness welcomed international brands and first-time exhibitors at the show. He expressed satisfaction with global companies choosing Dubai to launch their latest innovations: "We are pleased to see leading global companies choosing Dubai to launch their latest innovations."

The event includes pavilions from renowned yacht manufacturers such as Azimut, Ferretti, Sunseeker, and Yachts One. These exhibitors present advancements in maritime technology alongside luxury watercraft displays.

The 31st edition of the show not only showcases luxurious yacht designs but also facilitates sales of pre-owned yachts. It remains a leader in promoting investment opportunities within the industry.
