Mohammed Bin Rashid Attends Signing Of Agreements For Three Endowment Buildings Supporting Fathers’ Endowment Campaign

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, witnessed the signing of agreements between the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and three developers: Imtiaz Developments, SAMANA Developers, and Buimerc Corporation Ltd. These agreements involve constructing endowment buildings in Dubai Academic City to support the Fathers’ Endowment campaign.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign was launched during Ramadan to honour fathers in the UAE. It aims to establish a sustainable fund for providing healthcare and treatment to those in need. The initiative reflects the UAE's commitment to philanthropy and aligns with its values of compassion and generosity.

Under these agreements, Imtiaz Developments, SAMANA Developers, and Buimerc Corporation Ltd. will build endowment structures valued at AED50 million, AED40 million, and AED20 million respectively. The revenue generated from these buildings will fund healthcare initiatives for underprivileged individuals.

The funds will be used to develop hospitals, supply essential medical equipment, expand capacity, and upgrade operating rooms. This investment aims to create sustainable opportunities that improve the quality of life for those who require medical assistance.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary General of MBRGI, emphasised that the Fathers’ Endowment campaign embodies HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for sustainable giving. He believes philanthropy is crucial for creating positive change and helping those less fortunate meet their basic needs.

Al Gergawi also highlighted how Ramadan campaigns reinforce the UAE’s global leadership in humanitarian efforts. They reflect deeply rooted values of compassion and generosity within the nation.

Community Participation Encouraged

The campaign honours fathers by enabling donations in their name while promoting respect for parents, compassion, and social solidarity. It reinforces the UAE’s leadership in philanthropy through a sustainable healthcare endowment for those in need.

The initiative continues to welcome donations from institutions and individuals across six main channels. Contributions can be made via the campaign’s website or through a dedicated call centre at 800 4999.

Multiple Donation Channels Available

Donations can also be made via bank transfer in UAE dirhams to Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201). SMS donations are possible by sending ‘Father’ to specific numbers for different amounts through Etisalat by e& and du users.

Additionally, contributions can be made using the DubaiNow app under ‘Donations’ or via Dubai’s community contributions platform, Jood.ae. These options encourage widespread participation in supporting sustainable healthcare initiatives.
