Mohammed Bin Rashid Engages With UAE National Emirates Pilots At Dubai Airshow 2025
During the Dubai Airshow 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with UAE national pilots from Emirates. The meeting, attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, highlighted the pilots' role in enhancing Emirates' global presence in civil aviation.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed praised the airline's dedication to nurturing Emirati aviation talent. He emphasised that Emirati skills are vital to the UAE's future vision for aviation. The leadership trusts in their ability to advance progress and competitiveness, especially in technology fields.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed confidence in Emirati youth's commitment to excel in aviation. He believes their achievements reflect the UAE's spirit of success. Their innovation is crucial for boosting the country's standing in advanced technology sectors.

Currently, nearly 900 UAE Nationals serve as Captains and First Officers at Emirates globally. Additionally, over 300 cadets are training at Emirates Flight Training Academy. This focus on homegrown talent supports both Emiratisation goals and Emirates’ operational needs.
