Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid’s Vision Drives Dubai’s Leadership Model For Global Excellence

The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum recently focused on the leadership model of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The session examined how his vision is transforming Dubai into a leading global city. Discussions covered strategies in education, healthcare, real estate, and urban services.

Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Dubai, highlighted that Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership model relies on specialised institutions, adaptable legislation, and integrated planning. He mentioned that initiatives like Dubai’s D33 agenda foster a culture of competitiveness and innovation, driving excellence across sectors.

Dubai’s Leadership Model Under Sheikh Mohammed

Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, emphasised the importance of human capital in Dubai’s proactive planning. This focus has resulted in significant global impacts on quality of life, advanced infrastructure, and investment appeal. The city’s strategic approach continues to enhance its international standing.

Aisha Miran from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority discussed the E33 strategy's role in reshaping education. The aim is to position Dubai among the top 10 cities globally for education and as a key hub for international students. This strategy is redesigning the student journey to achieve these goals.

Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, spoke about the emirate’s integrated healthcare system. It supports the Dubai Plan 2033 by combining clinical services with education, research, and philanthropy to enhance healthcare delivery.

Omar Bushahab from the Dubai Land Department stated that citizen happiness is central to governance. Transparent decisions based on data drive streamlined digital services and talent development within the real estate sector. These efforts are crucial for shaping a responsive real estate environment.

Forum Highlights

The forum brought together 1,000 leaders from government and private sectors to share best practices. Their goal was to drive transformation and advance Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for making Dubai the world’s best city. This collaborative effort aims to position Dubai at the forefront globally.

The session titled "Turning Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s Vision into the World’s Best City" explored his philosophy as an international benchmark for leadership development. Speakers addressed various strategies across key sectors including education, healthcare, real estate, and urban services.
