Mohammed Bin Rashid Celebrates Graduation Of Leaders From 2024-2025 Programme Cohort

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, recently attended the graduation ceremony for the 2024-2025 cohort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Programme. This initiative, launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), is part of The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The programme aims to prepare Emirati leaders for significant roles in both public and private sectors. It focuses on strategic project management and leadership development. Participants engage in a blend of theoretical learning and practical experiences, guided by global experts and mentors from leading universities.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that nurturing innovative leaders who can shape the future is a national priority. He stated, "I am proud of this new cohort of ambitious national leaders from both the public and private sectors. They embody the positive initiative, responsibility, and commitment to personal and institutional growth, as well as to public service, that our people demonstrate daily."

The programme's curriculum includes an international trip to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK. Here, participants receive training in discipline, decisiveness, and field leadership. This experience is designed to enhance their ability to make bold decisions and challenge conventional thinking.

Since its inception in 2017, the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Programme has been instrumental in developing leaders who drive innovation and transformative change within their organisations. The programme aligns with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed's vision of empowering national talent across various sectors.

The 2024-2025 cohort worked on six transformative projects targeting key areas such as health, education, economy, quality of life, tourism, infrastructure, and community development. These projects reflect the UAE’s commitment to progress by enabling institutions to adapt to advancements across different fields.

Commitment to National Progress

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed reiterated his dedication to fostering leaders capable of making impactful decisions. He noted that hundreds have graduated from this programme since its launch. "We remain committed to nurturing innovative leaders who have the courage to take bold decisions and challenge conventional thinking," he said.

Founded on H.H. Sheikh Mohammed’s vision and methodology, the programme integrates comprehensive leadership experiences with individual mentoring sessions. A total of 60 Emirati leaders and global experts contribute their expertise through collaboration with international universities.

Since 2003, MBRCLD has delivered programmes that cultivate adaptable leaders equipped to navigate change effectively. These initiatives aim to address future challenges with competence and foresight while strengthening the UAE’s global standing.

The graduation ceremony highlighted the importance of empowering national talent as a key pillar for UAE’s approach towards progress. By investing in leadership development, the nation continues its journey towards enhancing its global influence across various sectors.
