Mohammed Bin Rashid Graduates With Distinction From Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst's Sovereign’s Parade in the UK. They were present to witness the graduation of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum from the academy's Commissioning Course 241.

The ceremony was also graced by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduates and their families.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan expressed his admiration for the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, highlighting its long-standing tradition of producing highly skilled military personnel. He praised its exceptional academic and field training standards and acknowledged its esteemed status within the global military academic community.

General Sir Patrick Sanders presided over the ceremony on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III. As the former Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, he officiated the graduation and honoured top graduates from Commissioning Course 241.

During the ceremony, General Sir Patrick Sanders awarded H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with two prestigious accolades: the ‘International Sword’ for being the best international cadet and an International Award for excelling in military, academic, and practical studies. He is notably the first Emirati to receive both honours simultaneously.

Sheikh Hamdan also met with Emirati students at Sandhurst, expressing pride in their accomplishments. He encouraged them to uphold national values and contribute positively to their country's development.

Distinguished Attendees at Graduation Ceremony

The graduation event was attended by Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, along with several senior military officials. Their presence underscored the importance of this occasion for both graduates and their families.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan congratulated all graduates, particularly acknowledging H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's achievements. He wished him continued success in serving his nation and contributing to its progress.
