Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Scholarships Initiative Opens Registration For AI And Economics Master's Programmes
The Mohammed bin Rashid Government Scholarships initiative has opened registration for its academic programmes, starting in March 2026. This initiative collaborates with top regional and international universities to prepare UAE government professionals for future challenges. The focus is on economic growth, digital transformation, and innovation-driven public policy.
Registration is available on the website www.mbrgs.ae until 28th December 2025. The first project offers scholarships for a Master’s degree in Economic and Public Policy and a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence in the Government Sector. These programmes aim to equip participants with skills essential for the next decade.
The Master's degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence is developed with Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). MBZUAI ranks among the top 20 AI universities globally. This programme uniquely combines academic study with practical application, including lab work, hackathons, expert lectures, and skill development sessions.
Classes will mostly occur during evenings and weekends at MBZUAI's Abu Dhabi campus. The course spans 24 months starting March 2026. Participants will gain skills to design sustainable AI solutions, enhance data analysis capabilities, and lead multidisciplinary teams across various sectors.
The Master of Science in Economics is offered through New York University Abu Dhabi under the same scholarship initiative. Starting March 2026, this 18-month programme includes seven weeks of preparatory courses tailored to student needs. It combines theoretical foundations with applied projects and practical coursework.
Participants will develop analytical skills to tackle complex economic issues and translate theory into practice through applied courses and a capstone project. They will also benefit from New York University's global academic network, enhancing their critical thinking and communication abilities.
Oxford Executive Diploma in AI for Business
Registration is also open for the Oxford Executive Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business. Developed with the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, this one-year programme starts in March 2026. It includes components designed specifically for government professionals under this scholarship initiative.
This diploma links AI innovation with business transformation through four intensive modules delivered in Oxford and Dubai. Participants will learn to translate AI concepts into strategies across sectors while adopting ethical approaches to data-driven decision-making.
