Nominations Open For The 9th Edition Of Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award Promoting Arabic Innovation

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and managed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL), has opened nominations for its 9th edition. This initiative underscores the UAE's dedication to promoting the Arabic language globally. It also highlights Dubai and the UAE's commitment to preserving Arab cultural heritage through innovative methods.

Launched with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, this award aims to position Arabic as a modern, influential language worldwide. Since its start, it has become a leading platform recognising contributions to the Arabic language in education, research, and publishing.

Bilal Al Budoor, Secretary General of the award, highlighted its strategic significance: "The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award embodies Dubai and the UAE's commitment to supporting the Arabic language in line with our wise leadership's vision, making it a cornerstone of cultural and intellectual development in the Arab world." He noted that past editions have boosted its global reputation.

Al Budoor further stated: "The 8th edition marked significant achievements in empowering the Arabic language and promoting it creatively on a global scale, contributing notably to the advancement of digital and educational tools. We are confident that the upcoming edition will witness further innovations and initiatives that propel the Arabic language to new heights."

It honours pioneers worldwide, showcasing its international recognition as a platform for excellence. The award continually seeks new approaches to elevate Arabic amid rapid technological changes.

Submissions must be completed by 14 March 2025, with only one entry allowed per cycle. Registration forms should be filled out online via the official website. The organising committee may disqualify entries not meeting requirements or revoke awards if terms are violated.

The judging panels' members and Board of Trustees cannot participate directly or indirectly in any manner. This ensures fairness throughout the process while maintaining high standards for all submissions received.
