Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Completes Packing Of Over 10 Million Meals For Gaza Relief Efforts

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) has swiftly completed packing over 10 million meals for Gaza. This effort, directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, supports the Palestinian people through the Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship. The initiative aligns with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, launched by the UAE to address urgent needs in Gaza.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed pride in the community's enthusiastic response, noting the participation of more than 20,000 volunteers. He stated: "I am proud of our community’s enthusiastic response, and of the efforts of more than 20,000 volunteers. This is the essence of the UAE people. This is the true spirit of Zayed’s sons and daughters. It is a profound demonstration of the love the people of the UAE have for Palestine and its people. We thank all participants. The UAE will always remain a steadfast supporter of the Palestinian people and their cause."

Initially, MBRGI sought only 2,000 volunteers for meal packing but received an overwhelming response from over 20,000 individuals within a week. This reflects the UAE's deep-rooted values of generosity and solidarity towards Palestinians. The event took place at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, showcasing strong community involvement.

During this major event organised by MBRGI at Expo City, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited to observe operations and meet volunteers. He praised their essential role in achieving the campaign's goals. His Highness commended their dedication to packing meals efficiently.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary General of MBRGI, highlighted that providing over 10 million meals aboard the humanitarian ship reinforces UAE's commitment to aiding Gaza over recent years. He noted: "Once again, the UAE community has shown its remarkable values of solidarity and compassion through the overwhelming response to the charitable and humanitarian initiatives launched by our nation."

Al Gergawi emphasised that this initiative exemplifies UAE's unwavering principle of supporting nations in need. The massive volunteer turnout underscores societal generosity and solidarity with Palestinians during challenging times.
