Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub Officially Inaugurates Comlux Facility To Enhance Aviation Services In Dubai South

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai has launched a new facility by Comlux, a prominent business aviation company. This event was graced by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, along with other key figures such as Khalifa Al Zaffin and Tahnoon Saif. The facility is strategically positioned at Al Maktoum International Airport within the VIP Terminal's aircraft maintenance area.

Spanning over 20,000 square meters, the facility serves multiple purposes. It acts as a hangarage, service center, and regional headquarters for Comlux. The site includes an apron parking area, an air-conditioned hangar for aircraft storage, and spaces for offices and workshops. These features ensure smooth operations while offering aircraft cleaning and cabin detailing services.

Comlux Facility Opens at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub

MBRAH is located in Dubai South and offers high-level connectivity to global aerospace players. It is a free-zone destination catering to leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs, and related industries. The hub also houses maintenance centers and training campuses to bolster engineering industries in line with Dubai's vision of becoming a top aviation hub.

Tahnoon Saif expressed enthusiasm about the new facility: "The opening of Comlux’s state-of-the-art facility is an added-value to the services we provide at MBRAH and reflects our commitment to attracting leading global companies and drive innovation in the aviation industry." He emphasized MBRAH's role in positioning Dubai as a global aviation leader.

Richard Gaona highlighted the strategic importance of the new facility for Comlux clients in the region. He acknowledged MBRAH's support in establishing this service center at DWC Airport. Jean-Michel Champredonde will manage daily operations as General Manager of Comlux Middle East & Africa.

The inauguration ceremony saw attendance from senior officials including Richard Gaona, Chairman of Comlux, and Joseph Huber, Vice Chairman of Comlux. Their presence underscored the significance of this development for both Comlux and MBRAH.

MBRAH continues to attract global aerospace leaders by offering an integrated ecosystem that supports companies in establishing their presence in Dubai. This aligns with its mandate to drive innovation within the aviation sector while supporting Dubai's ambition to be a leading aviation hub globally.
