Strategic Partnership Between Miral And Aldar Education Aims To Enrich Abu Dhabi Student Learning
Miral, a prominent creator of immersive destinations in Abu Dhabi, has partnered with Aldar Education to enhance educational experiences for students. This collaboration aims to develop interactive initiatives across 12 Aldar Education schools in Abu Dhabi. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Taghrid Alsaeed from Miral and Dave Taylor from Aldar Education, with key executives Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi and Sahar Cooper in attendance.
The partnership will offer bi-annual internships at Yas Island theme parks for students aged 16-18. These internships aim to provide hands-on experience in tourism and entertainment sectors. Additionally, quarterly industry-expert talks will cover various topics to inspire and educate students.

Miral's Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing, Taghrid Alsaeed, stated, "Our collaboration with Aldar Education is dedicated to inspiring the future leaders of tomorrow to explore careers within the tourism, leisure, and entertainment sectors. Through a dynamic blend of entertainment combined with educational and social programmes and initiatives, we aim to shape a brighter future. This partnership highlights our commitment to the educational pillar of our CSR strategy, and to further position Yas Island as a top global destination. By doing so, we seek to drive sustainable value and create lasting positive impact within our community."
Sustainability-focused activities are also part of the agreement. Students will participate in beach and desert clean-ups and engage in the "Winged Horizon" conservation initiative. This initiative is a collaboration between Mohamed bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund, Miral, and Aldar Education aimed at boosting local bird populations.
Dave Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at Aldar Education, added, "The diverse range of programmes and opportunities offered through our partnership with Miral will enhance our students' educational journey. By exposing them to real-world experiences and fostering a sense of social and environmental responsibility, we aim to equip our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become well-rounded individuals and future leaders. This partnership supports Aldar Education’s commitment to providing a holistic education that extends beyond the classroom, ensuring our students develop academically, personally, and socially."
Field Trips Enhance Learning
As part of this strategic partnership, students will benefit from field trips to Yas Island theme parks. These excursions are designed to complement classroom learning by providing practical insights into the tourism industry.
The collaboration aligns with multiple pillars of Miral's CSR strategy aimed at fostering growth through culture and entertainment. This initiative underscores their commitment to creating positive societal impacts while enhancing educational opportunities for young learners.
This strategic alliance between Miral and Aldar Education signifies a robust commitment towards enriching student education through practical experiences while promoting sustainability efforts within the community.
