Ministry Of Sports Unveils Sportifai To Enhance Governance And Support National Sports Strategy 2031

The Ministry of Sports has unveiled the Sportifai digital platform, aiming to revolutionise sports governance in the UAE. This initiative is set to enhance athlete development and align with the National Sports Strategy 2031. The launch occurred during a workshop titled 'Driving Digital Transformation in the UAE Sports Sector,' attended by sports federation leaders, technicians, and administrators.

Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, highlighted Sportifai as a significant advancement for UAE sports. It offers a comprehensive digital ecosystem that boosts operational efficiency and encourages innovation. By leveraging AI and data analytics, it facilitates early athlete identification and development.

Sportifai Launched to Boost Sports Governance

Sportifai simplifies service access for sports federations under the Zero Government Bureaucracy programme, enhancing performance and smart governance. Dr. Al Falasi noted its role in integrating national sports organisations, providing real-time data for evidence-based decisions. This aligns with the broader digital transformation goals of the National Sports Strategy 2031.

Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports, stated, "Sportifai is designed as a technological partner for use across all Federations and Sports clubs, through developing an integrated digital infrastructure including advanced systems for athlete data management, modern talent identification solutions, and performance analysis tools."

Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum introduced Sportifai's brand identity at the workshop. He thanked federation leaders for their active participation and stressed ongoing collaboration among sports entities to ensure successful digital transformation implementation.

The workshop featured two sessions: one for sports federation presidents with a detailed presentation on Sportifai by the Ministry; another for technical and administrative staff focusing on priority projects within the Ministry’s digital strategy.

This initiative marks a step towards achieving the objectives set out in the National Sports Strategy 2031. By integrating technology into sports governance, it aims to streamline processes and foster athletic talent across the nation.
