These accolades, presented by Procurement Leaders in Singapore, include the "Asia Pacific Digital Impact" and "Asia Pacific Procurement Team" awards. Attendees included Nadia Sultan Al Ali, Hamda Ali Al Ali, and Alia Majid Al Shamsi, alongside representatives from various public and private sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.
Younis Haji AlKhoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, expressed pride in this achievement. He highlighted that these awards reflect the UAE’s leadership in adopting advanced digital solutions and promoting governance within its federal procurement system. The recognition underscores continuous efforts to enhance transparency and efficiency in public spending.

The Ministry received the Asia Pacific Digital Impact Award for its comprehensive digital transformation of the federal procurement ecosystem. This transformation includes digitising the entire procurement cycle from planning to contracting. By integrating systems and platforms, they ensured seamless data alignment and operational processes.
Advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence tools have been implemented to boost efficiency and speed up transaction processing. These efforts have improved transparency, provided fair access to procurement opportunities for suppliers, reduced operational timelines, and enhanced compliance levels significantly.
The Asia Pacific Procurement Team Award was given to the Ministry's Digital Procurement Platform team for their outstanding performance. They developed a unified operational model based on governance and transparency. The team focused on strengthening national talent through specialised training programmes and professional certifications.
This approach has nurtured a culture of collaboration within institutions, enhanced coordination between departments and partners, expanded the supplier base, and promoted a competitive environment encouraging innovation and excellence. These initiatives have led to measurable improvements in institutional performance and public spending efficiency.
