Ministry Of Energy And Infrastructure Collaborates With Pact Carbon To Advance Green Mobility Initiatives
The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has partnered with Pact Carbon to initiate a pilot project focused on increasing the use of electric bicycles. This collaboration also involves a study to assess the potential for future expansion, aligning with the UAE's national goals for green and sustainable mobility.
Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at MoEI, highlighted the significance of this agreement in advancing the UAE's sustainable mobility efforts. He stated, "The ministry is committed to driving the transition to green mobility and achieving climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint in the transportation sector, while promoting the use of sustainable transportation modes, such as electric bicycles."

Al Olama further explained that this agreement underscores the ministry's focus on strengthening partnerships with private entities.
