Ministers And International Education Leaders Discover UAE’s Innovative Educational Models And Best Practices

The UAE's Ministry of Cabinet Affairs recently facilitated visits for participants in the International Education Leadership Programme. This initiative is part of a specialised programme designed to empower participants with the skills needed to develop educational policies and strategies. The programme aims to foster collaboration among global education leaders and highlight the UAE’s innovative practices in education.

Participants in the programme engaged in knowledge visits to key institutions, including the Ministry of Education, Khalifa University, and New York University Abu Dhabi. These visits allowed them to observe best practices and learn from successful educational models. The programme also included workshops and meetings with 18 Emirati experts, providing a comprehensive learning experience.

Exploring UAE's Innovative Education Models

Mohammed Al Qasim, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education, welcomed delegates at the Zayed Educational Complex. He discussed recent developments in public education for the 2025-2026 academic year. Al Qasim highlighted the integration of artificial intelligence as a central element in enhancing educational quality, including a pioneering AI curriculum aimed at equipping students with future-ready skills.

The International Education Leadership Programme covered several key areas, such as improving education quality and building institutional capacities. It also explored how modern technologies impact academic performance. Participants shared successful educational policies at an international level, promoting a global exchange of ideas and strategies.

Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange, emphasised that education is a priority for the UAE. He stated that the International Education Leadership Programme reflects the UAE’s vision for global partnerships in education. "The programmes provide a unique opportunity and an international platform to enrich expertise," he said.

The UAE Government Experience Exchange Programme was launched to share best government practices globally. Since 2018, it has established partnerships with numerous countries to enhance government performance through strategic planning and leadership initiatives. This programme aims to build institutional capacities by transferring successful models across various sectors.

Commitment to Educational Excellence

Lootah noted that these programmes strengthen communication aimed at improving education quality amid rapid technological advancements. The UAE Government's Experience Exchange Programme continues to promote collaboration worldwide, allowing other nations to benefit from its pioneering experiences.

The International Education Leadership Programme brought together 27 leaders from 17 countries, including ministers from Paraguay, Syria, and Montenegro. This diverse group participated in workshops and meetings designed to foster meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas on enhancing educational strategies globally.

The UAE's commitment to advancing education is evident through initiatives like these that focus on innovation and collaboration. By sharing its experiences and models with other countries, the UAE aims to contribute positively to global educational development while strengthening its own systems through international partnerships.
