The delegation also paid respects at the mausoleum of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. They remembered his wisdom and vision for peace that continues to influence the UAE’s culture of tolerance. The visit underscored Sheikh Zayed's enduring impact on promoting coexistence.

Mucunski expressed his admiration during the visit, stating, "It is a great honour to be in this magnificent mosque, which shows that when a leader such as the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has a vision that unites humanity and brings peoples together, it is a vision that can be achieved. You have a wonderful nation, even on a global level, that reflects the values established by Sheikh Zayed. I wish you continued success and good fortune in all your future endeavours."

As part of their visit, Mucunski received a commemorative gift symbolising the mosque’s artistic elegance. Additionally, he was given a copy of "Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: Lights of Peace." This publication highlights the mosque’s unique architectural style through award-winning photographs from the "Spaces of Light" competition.

The visit served as an opportunity for cultural exchange between North Macedonia and the UAE. It highlighted shared values of tolerance and openness promoted by both nations. The delegation left with a deeper understanding of how these principles are embodied in one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic landmarks.
