MENA E-commerce Community Marks 1st Anniversary With Key Insights And Growth
The MENA E-commerce Community celebrated its first anniversary this week, highlighting its journey in supporting regional businesses. The event had over 123 registrations and 60 offline participants, showcasing the community's impact on uniting manufacturers, D2C brands, and marketplace sellers.
Arsenii Ivanov, Client Partner at TikTok MENA, participated in the event. He shared insights on TikTok tools for e-commerce players in the region. His advice demonstrated the practical value of the community's events and insights.

Insights from Industry Leaders
Mariyam Lahlou, Sales Manager at Dubai CommerceCity, also joined the celebrations. She discussed digital commerce and innovative solutions under the UAE Digital Economy Strategy. Topics included distribution in digital sales channels, fundamental analysis, omnichannel strategies, and "closed" sales channels.
The event further explored FashionTech's future. Discussions included AI services for fashion e-commerce and AI's impact on design and shopping experiences.

The MENA E-commerce Community also works closely with government agencies to highlight e-commerce potential across the Middle East. This collaboration aims to further enhance the region's digital economy landscape.
Niekhaienko added that YallaHub has achieved three years in the UAE with their YallaMarket goods delivery service and $15 million in investments. He emphasized that high visibility and a diversified approach are key to success in this industry.
