MBZUAI Invites Global Leaders To Intensive AI Programme In Abu Dhabi

Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has initiated registration for its week-long executive programme in Abu Dhabi. The MBZUAI Executive Programme - Accelerated (MEP-A) is a condensed, six-day version of the university’s well-known MBZUAI Executive Programme (MEP). Applications are open for the first cohort and will close on 25th September, 2024.

The programme will commence with an orientation day on 20th October, followed by on-campus lectures, site visits, and cultural networking activities from 21st to 25th October, 2024. The curriculum includes the UAE’s AI strategy, AI fundamentals, and industry case studies covering robotics, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Participants will gain practical insights into how UAE-based entities are integrating AI and advanced technologies through site visits and networking events. This hands-on experience aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI applications in various industries.

Sultan Al Hajji, MBZUAI’s Vice President of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations, stated that "MEP-A has maintained its academic rigor and offers local and international executives, startup founders and co-founders, top management from publicly traded companies and multinational corporations, and international foundation directors’ the opportunity to access the greatest global minds in artificial intelligence right here in Abu Dhabi."

He further added that participants would graduate with knowledge on best practices in AI strategy and implementation. They will also learn how to use AI responsibly. The programme concludes with business integration sessions, enabling participants to apply their newfound knowledge directly to their organisations.

Networking Opportunities

The programme also provides networking opportunities with past MEP alumni. This aspect is designed to foster connections that can lead to future collaborations and partnerships within the AI sector.

A total of 30 participants from both international locations and the UAE will be selected for this programme. These participants may also choose to attend GITEX Global at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14th to 18th October, 2024. This event is one of the largest tech and startup gatherings globally.

The MEP-A offers a unique opportunity for executives to enhance their understanding of AI while engaging with industry leaders. The combination of lectures, site visits, and networking activities ensures a well-rounded educational experience.
