MBRHC Announces AED 20 Million Contribution To Fathers' Endowment Campaign Supporting Healthcare For Needy

Under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRHC) has pledged AED20 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to honour fathers in the UAE by creating a sustainable fund for healthcare support during Ramadan.

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed highlighted that this campaign aligns with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed's vision for sustainable philanthropy, reinforcing the UAE's dedication to aiding those in need. The endowment honours fathers as role models and nurturers, recognising their contributions to instilling noble values in their children.

Abdullah Al Basti, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRHC, stated that the Fathers' Endowment campaign embodies deep humanitarian values. It fosters social solidarity and cooperation by enabling society members to contribute to charitable causes. This initiative strengthens mutual support within the community.

Al Basti further mentioned that under H.H. Sheikh Ahmed's guidance, MBRHC is dedicated to supporting charitable campaigns initiated by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. They aim to use all available resources and expertise to achieve these noble goals, hoping their support will ensure sustainable healthcare for those in need during Ramadan.

The MBRHC has been instrumental in various humanitarian efforts led by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, including past Ramadan food aid initiatives like ‘10 Million Meals’ and ‘1 Billion Meals’. Last March, they contributed to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign with an AED1 billion fund supporting global education.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). It encourages donations in fathers' names, promoting values of compassion and solidarity while enhancing the UAE's leadership in charitable work.

Donation Channels

The campaign welcomes contributions from both individuals and institutions through six main channels. Donations can be made via the website Fathersfund.ae or through a toll-free call centre at 800 4999. Bank transfers are accepted at Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201).

For mobile users, donations can be made by sending "Father" via SMS: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500 through Etisalat by e& and du networks. Other platforms include DubaiNow app’s "Donations" tab and Jood.ae.

This campaign not only honours fathers but also strengthens UAE's reputation for generosity and human solidarity through charitable endowments.
