Mansoor Bin Mohammed Visits Dubai Civil Defence To Review Emergency Response Systems And Technologies
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Border Security Council, recently visited the General Command of Dubai Civil Defence. He was welcomed by Lieutenant General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director-General of Dubai Civil Defence, along with senior officers and department heads.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor highlighted that Dubai Civil Defence is crucial in safeguarding lives and property while enhancing community security. The ongoing development of systems and technologies demonstrates Dubai's dedication to maintaining top readiness and response levels.
During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor examined the firefighting and control system, modern vehicle fleet, and specialised equipment for rapid intervention operations. These resources improve efficiency and response times significantly. He also observed marine units securing vital coastal projects and AI-supported robotic systems used in firefighting operations.
He noted that Dubai has developed advanced infrastructure backed by a comprehensive safety system to protect the community. The modern equipment, specialised vehicles, and AI-enabled applications adopted by Dubai Civil Defence showcase an innovative approach that enhances operational efficiency and strengthens emergency response effectiveness.
The training and qualification system, including the Kafa’ah technical assessment programme, is a core pillar of the emirate’s readiness. Continuous development of Civil Defence personnel ensures preparedness in line with international best practices. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor reviewed foundational courses, the Kafa’ah system for technical assessments, and advanced training in robotics and drone technologies during his visit.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor affirmed that under its leadership's guidance, Dubai will continue supporting its security and safety system with cutting-edge technologies to ensure a stable environment for residents and visitors alike.
