Mansoor Bin Mohammed Highlights UAE's Role At Dubai Airshow 2025 With Key Aviation Innovations
The Dubai Air Show 2025, a leading event for aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors, is currently taking place at Dubai World Central (DWC). H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, attended the show. This year's edition is the largest ever, featuring over 1,500 exhibitors and concluding on 21st November.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor praised the Dubai Airshow as a top global platform that attracts major international companies to showcase the latest in aviation and defence technologies. He highlighted the extensive global participation this year, which is the most diverse since the event began.
The success of the Dubai Airshow reflects the UAE leadership's vision to establish the country as a global aviation hub. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor noted that the event promotes innovation and encourages adopting advanced technologies while supporting growth in the worldwide aviation sector. It also underscores the UAE's leadership in this field.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored both national and international pavilions. These included EDGE Group, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Rafale, Abu Dhabi Aviation, Starlink, Airbus Space, Space42, and Thales. He examined cutting-edge aviation, defence, and space technologies showcased at these pavilions.
Sheikh Mansoor viewed various new aircraft models such as Gulfstream G800 and Russian Sukhoi jets. He also saw Emirates’ Boeing 777 equipped with Starlink and Riyadh Aviation’s Airbus H160 helicopter. At the UAE Air Force pavilion, he inspected medical evacuation aircraft A330 and C-17 aircraft. Additionally, he attended aerial displays on the second day of the event.
This year’s show features more than 1,500 exhibitors with 440 being new participants. The event expects around 148,000 trade visitors along with 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries. There are also 21 country pavilions present at this edition.
Extensive Aircraft Showcase
The event showcases over 200 aircraft including commercial planes, military jets, private jets, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), and next-generation technologies across flying and static displays. This marks it as having one of the largest displays in its history.
The Dubai Airshow continues to be a significant platform for showcasing advancements in aviation technology while fostering international collaboration within this sector.
