The State of Qatar was confirmed as the host for the 4th GCC Sports Games in 2026. The meeting stressed providing comprehensive technical and logistical support from Gulf Olympic Committees to Qatar. Enhancing women's participation was also highlighted as a priority.

Kuwait's request to host the 2nd GCC Youth Games in 2028 was approved. Emphasis was placed on adhering to age-related technical regulations to ensure fairness. The inclusion of educational and cultural programmes alongside these games was encouraged to promote sportsmanship among youth.

The Planning, Coordination, and Follow-up Committee received authorisation to prepare for upcoming GCC multi-sport events from 2029 to 2032. These preparations will align with international and regional sports calendars.

Coordination between the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the UAE was endorsed for setting up the next meeting of GCC Olympic Committees' Presidents. This will be preceded by a preparatory session by The Executive Office.

Women's Sports Initiatives

The meeting approved full support for a Unified Digital Platform for Gulf Women's Sports. Member states will provide necessary data related to its digital identity and information on sports facilities across the GCC to promote sports tourism.

An annual or periodic Gulf Women's Sports Hackathon was also approved under the Advisory Committee for Women's Sports. This initiative aims to foster innovation through multidisciplinary teams from member states, offering training and engagement opportunities during workshops.

Conference Participation and Funding

The meeting encouraged active participation by GCC member states in submitting research papers for the conference. Discussions focused on funding strategies involving partnerships with private sector entities and government institutions to ensure a high-standard event.

Advanced technologies like interactive applications, live streaming, and digital platforms were endorsed for organising this conference to broaden engagement.

Reviewing Past Events

The Executive Office and relevant committees were tasked with reviewing the final report of the 3rd GCC Beach Games hosted by Oman. This review will assess technical aspects, challenges, and recommendations for future actions.

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor later attended a cultural event at Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre, marking his involvement beyond just sporting discussions.
