Mansoor Bin Mohammed Celebrates Academic Excellence At HBMSU's 15th Graduation Ceremony
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, attended the graduation ceremony for the 15th cohort at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU). The event was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The ceremony celebrated 251 graduates from various programmes.
The graduation included students from PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's programmes across several colleges: E-Learning, Business Administration and Quality, Health and Environmental Studies, and Research and Graduate Studies. Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, was also present at the event.
During the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor met with distinguished PhD graduates to commend their academic excellence. This gesture highlights his commitment to supporting their academic growth and professional advancement. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of HBMSU’s Board of Trustees, along with Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, awarded certificates to the graduates.
The graduating class included 157 students from the College of Business Administration and Quality—88 with Master's degrees and 69 with Bachelor's degrees. Additionally, there were 35 Master’s graduates from the College of E-Learning and 54 from the College of Health and Environmental Studies—33 Master's and 21 Bachelor's degrees. Five students completed research and PhD programmes.
Mattar Al Tayer stated that HBMSU is committed to empowering future innovators by embracing innovation as a methodology and lifelong learning as a culture. He said this aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for Dubai's development.
"Driven by the forward-looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum...HBMSU is geared towards empowering the next generation of innovators and creative minds," he remarked. He also congratulated all graduates, expressing hope for their success in making significant contributions to their fields.
