Manchester City Makes History With 10th Premier League Title And Fourth-Straight Win
Manchester City secured a 3-1 victory over West Ham United on the final day of the season, thanks to two first-half goals from Phil Foden and a second-half strike from Rodrigo. This win ensured City finished two points ahead of Arsenal, clinching their tenth top-flight league title. Captain Kyle Walker will lift the trophy at the Etihad Stadium in front of a sell-out crowd.
Club legend Paul Dickov and City in the Community participant Michael Crowther will hand the trophy to Walker. This marks City's sixth Premier League title in seven seasons, continuing Pep Guardiola's impressive record since he took charge in 2016. The Premier League title is the third trophy City have won this season, following their UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup victories.

City now have a chance to make history by becoming the first team in English football to win consecutive Premier League and FA Cup Doubles. They will face Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 25 May. Walker expressed his pride in leading City to four consecutive Premier League titles, calling it a unique achievement he will always treasure.
"The last few years have been very special for everyone at Manchester City," Walker said. "To have captained this Club to a fourth straight Premier League title is something I will cherish forever. The Premier League is the benchmark by which everyone is measured, and winning four in a row illustrates what City have collectively managed to achieve."
Walker thanked Guardiola, the backroom staff, his teammates, and everyone working hard across the Club. He also praised the unwavering support from Manchester City fans, stating that their passion means the world to him and all the players.
In 38 league matches this season, Guardiola's team won 28 and scored 95 goals, collecting 91 points. City remained unbeaten at home throughout the campaign, with their last home defeat coming in November 2022. City's points haul of 91 means they have now finished with 90+ points on four occasions, more than any other side in Premier League history.
Last season, City became only the fifth club in English football history to win three top-flight titles in a row. This season's success makes them the only men's team to achieve four successive English league titles. This historic achievement adds to City's significant milestones, including their 100 Premier League points in 2017/18 and last season's Treble.
Guardiola has now won 17 pieces of silverware since joining City, including six Premier League titles, one Champions League, two FA Cups, four League Cups, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, and two Community Shields. The title defence was a collective effort with key contributions from all squad members.
Erling Haaland finished the season with 27 Premier League goals, winning the Golden Boot for the second consecutive year. Phil Foden was named Premier League Player of the Season and Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year after his finest year as a professional. Spanish midfielder Rodrigo also made headlines by reaching 50 Premier League games unbeaten against West Ham.
Everyone at Manchester City congratulates Pep Guardiola, his backroom staff, and all players on another significant achievement for the club.
