Maktoum Bin Mohammed Approves Strategic Plan For Dubai Courts Aiming For Innovation And Efficiency
H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, has endorsed the strategic plan for Dubai Courts spanning 2025-2029. This initiative aims to boost innovation within the judicial framework of Dubai, enhancing its global reputation. The plan aligns with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision to position Dubai as a model for advanced justice systems worldwide.
The strategic plan is structured around four main objectives: pioneering judicial performance, integrated services, future-ready capabilities, and an advanced digital system. Pioneering judicial performance involves optimising case preparation and improving adjudication efficiency. Integrated services focus on enhancing customer experience and promoting alternative dispute resolution. Future-ready capabilities aim at attracting specialised talent and fostering innovation.

Sheikh Maktoum emphasised the importance of developing a judicial system that adapts to global changes and future needs. This approach ensures efficient service for litigants while maintaining swift justice and upholding the rule of law. He praised the efforts of Dubai Courts’ teams in crafting this plan, highlighting the need for continuous improvement through cutting-edge technologies and AI adoption.

The strategic plan is implemented through three impact indicators, 27 performance indicators, and 42 initiatives. Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, stated that rapid global changes necessitate swift responses from judicial systems.
