Make It In The Emirates Awards Submission Deadline Extended To April 30, 2025 For National Recognition
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has extended the deadline for the third Make it in the Emirates Awards. Companies, factories, and individuals in the UAE can now submit entries until 30th April 2025. These awards are part of the UAE's industrial strategy, recognising innovation and excellence in manufacturing and advanced technology.
In 2024, over 670 submissions were received, with 13 winners honoured for their contributions to industrial resilience and innovation. The awards support Operation 300bn, aiming to grow the UAE’s industrial sector to AED300 billion by 2031. This initiative underscores the importance of fostering a robust industrial ecosystem in the country.

The awards are structured around nine categories and five strategic pillars. These include smart manufacturing, sustainability, innovation, in-country value (ICV), leadership and talent, and preserving traditional crafts. This structure highlights achievements across various facets of the industry, promoting comprehensive development.
MoIAT has teamed up with the University of Cambridge as its Technical Evaluation Partner. The university will ensure high evaluation standards by applying rigorous international best practices. This partnership aims to maintain a transparent and impartial judging process for all entries.
The awards are organised under five main pillars: Excellence in In-Country Value (ICV); Factory of the Future; Industry Enablers and Strategic Partners; Leadership and Talent; and UAE Traditional Crafts. Each pillar encompasses specific awards like Sustainable Manufacturing Award, Smart Manufacturer Award, Quality Award, Young Talent of the Year Award, among others.
The evaluation process will commence immediately after submissions close. Winners will be announced on Day 1 of Make it in the Emirates 2025 event at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi from 19-22 May. This event is anticipated to be larger than previous editions with over 500 exhibitors across more than 50,000 sqm of exhibition space.
Make it in the Emirates Awards celebrate achievements that contribute significantly to national goals. By recognising excellence in various domains, these awards play a crucial role in encouraging innovation within the UAE's industrial landscape.
