Machines Can See Summit 2025 To Explore Key Advancements In AI And Computer Vision

The Machines Can See Summit, now in its third edition, is the largest computer vision event in the Gulf region. Supported by organisations like Digital Dubai and Yango Group, it will take place on April 23-24. This summit offers a platform for innovators to discuss AI advancements. It is part of the inaugural Dubai AI Week, organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

Key local government officials will attend the summit, including Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence. A notable feature is the Ministerial Session, where international leaders will discuss national IT development's role in AI's future. Speakers include Zhaslan Madiyev from Kazakhstan and Malaysia's Gobind Singh Deo.

Machines Can See Summit 2025: AI Insights

Adding depth to the event, SAP will host a workshop titled "Turning AI into Real-World Results." This session allows business leaders to design custom AI assistants tailored to their needs. Attendees will learn how AI can enhance product innovation and customer experiences while optimising supply chains.

Yango Group, known for transforming global technologies into local services, will showcase its human-like AI assistant Yasmina. The company will also present autonomous delivery robots and warehouse automation solutions at the summit.

The "AI for a Better and Safer World" session will explore how AI can improve global security while addressing ethical concerns. Participants include Major General Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi from Dubai Police and Marwan Zeineddine from SAP UAE. Another panel, "Byte-Sized Profits," focuses on investment strategies in the AI market with speakers like Omar Almajdouie from Raed Ventures.

The "Good AI: Between Hype and Mediocrity" session critically examines transformative innovations versus fleeting trends. Insights come from experts like Dr. Najwa Aaraj of TIl and Namik Hrle of IBM. The "Computer Vision: What's On" panel features leaders discussing breakthroughs in image recognition.

Exploring Robotics and Future Technologies

The "Robots: Are We Ready?" panel discusses autonomous delivery's future with experts like Sami Haddadin from MBZUAI. The summit also includes keynotes from Michael Bronstein of Oxford University and Gerard Medioni from Amazon Prime Video.
