Liminal Custody Enhances MENA Presence With Dubai Office Launch

Liminal Custody has announced its strategic decision to extend its operations into Dubai, highlighting its ambition to strengthen its position in the digital asset sector across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The company, known for providing top-notch digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure, identifies the MENA region as a hub for innovation and institutional acceptance of digital assets.

The establishment of a new office in Sheikh Rashid Tower within Dubai reflects Liminal Custody's desire to leverage the forward-looking regulatory climate of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Free Zone. This zone is notable for its encouragement of blockchain technology and the regulation of cryptocurrencies.

Liminal Custody Launches in Dubai

Through collaboration with progressive regulators, including the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), Liminal aims to ensure its services adhere to the highest standards of compliance and security. This move not only strengthens Liminal’s position in the region but also builds upon its current standing, showcased through its possession of a Financial Services Permission (FSP) licence granted by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Amir Tabch, CEO Middle East at Liminal Custody, said, "Our expansion to Dubai, along with our Initial Approval(IA) for a VASP licence from VARA, highlights Liminal's commitment to fostering the secure growth of the regional digital asset ecosystem. We are eager to collaborate with established entities like DWTC and work closely with VARA to enhance our service offerings. This strategic move enables us to provide comprehensive custody solutions tailored to the evolving needs of Dubai and the broader MENA market."

The move to Dubai is not just about geographical expansion but also about enhancing Liminal Custody's service quality and security. With the Initial Approval(IA) for a VASP licence from VARA, Liminal Custody is well-positioned to broaden its clientele in Dubai, offering state-of-the-art custody solutions. This expansion reaffirms the company's reputation for unparalleled security and compliance, as evidenced by its numerous certifications, including CCSS Level 3, SOC Type 2, and ISO 27001 & 27701. These accreditations highlight Liminal's unwavering commitment to the protection of digital assets.
