The event will occur on 24–25 January, offering amateur cyclists and families a chance to experience the renowned cycling race in the UAE. This edition will feature new routes starting from Dubai Design District (D3) and ending at Expo Village Park.

The 2026 event promises a diverse programme with races like the 112 km 'Epic Race' and the 61 km 'Classic Race'. These routes are designed to challenge participants while providing enjoyment. Starting from D3, riders will enjoy views of downtown Dubai before exploring new loops around Global Village. The finish line and non-competitive events will be at Expo Village Park.

New Routes Announced for L’Étape Dubai 2026

The event will include a Family Ride (20 km) and Kids’ Race (300m - 1.8 km), creating a festival atmosphere for all ages. Participants can test themselves in sprint sections, compete for Tour de France jerseys, and meet cycling legends. The enhanced Race Village at Expo will be a central hub for activities throughout the weekend.

Škoda, along with other partners, will power the expanded programme of activities at the Race Village. The inaugural edition set high standards with diverse offerings, and the 2026 edition aims to build on this success. More social rides and activities are planned from September through January to engage riders.

The event targets an international audience by offering special packages that combine participation with a stay in Dubai. Škoda plans to expand its presence across the village, reinforcing its commitment to cycling in the Middle East. The wider programme includes more exhibitors and initiatives encouraging greater female participation.

Cyclists across the UAE can join social rides leading up to the race weekend. These rides aim to connect the community, prepare participants for the main event, and keep cycling culture vibrant in Dubai. Guided by experts, these rides showcase cycling as inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
