UAE And Kuwaiti Foreign Ministers Open New Kuwaiti Embassy In Abu Dhabi
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Foreign Minister of Kuwait, have inaugurated the new building of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Abu Dhabi. The two diplomats unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the opening and toured a photo exhibition showcasing Kuwait's development and the strong ties between the two nations.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that the new embassy building symbolises the deep fraternal ties between the UAE and Kuwait. He noted that these relations are built on mutual respect, understanding, and cohesion. He described the UAE-Kuwaiti relationship as strong and fortified by bonds of mutual love and brotherhood between their leaderships and peoples.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed that the UAE is eager to continue working with Kuwait at all levels to develop this historical relationship further. This collaboration aims to fulfil the aspirations of both countries' leaderships and their brotherly peoples. He praised Jamal Al Ghunaim, Ambassador of Kuwait to the UAE, and his team for their efforts in strengthening relations between the two nations.
The ceremony concluded with Sheikh Abdullah and Abdullah Ali Al Yahya taking a commemorative photo with embassy members and team. The event was attended by Jamal Al Ghunaim, several Gulf country ambassadors, diplomats, and senior officials.
During their tour of the photo exhibition, Sheikh Abdullah and Abdullah Ali Al Yahya observed images reflecting Kuwait's significant development drive. These photos also highlighted the depth of fraternal relations between Kuwait and the UAE over time.
The opening ceremony underscored the commitment of both nations to continue fostering strong diplomatic ties. The presence of high-ranking officials from both countries signified the importance placed on this relationship.
Sheikh Abdullah reiterated that UAE-Kuwaiti relations are based on solid foundations. He emphasised that mutual respect, understanding, and cohesion are key elements that strengthen these ties.
