KSIADC And Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Sign MoU To Enhance Airport Development

The King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC). This agreement aims to boost cooperation in developing infrastructure for King Salman International Airport (KSIA). The MoU was formalised at the Global Infrastructure Forum, held from September 15 to 17 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The collaboration between KSIADC and RIPC is designed to foster innovation and operational excellence in infrastructure projects. It aligns with Saudi Arabia's national development goals and Vision 2030 objectives. The partnership outlines a framework for joint initiatives that will enhance the quality and efficiency of infrastructure projects, thereby supporting national development priorities.

KSIADC Signs MoU with RIPC for Airport Development

KSIADC's Chief Delivery Officer, James Young, highlighted that this MoU strengthens ties with key government entities. He emphasised that it advances infrastructure projects to meet top standards of quality and efficiency. This collaboration also aims to elevate Saudi Arabia’s standing in the global aviation sector by supporting national development.

Eng. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al Badah, Chief Executive of RIPC, reiterated the centre's dedication to closely collaborating with KSIADC. He noted that this agreement would facilitate shared knowledge and expertise, driving innovation in infrastructure development. The focus is on ensuring integration across various projects under KSIA.

The MoU prioritises exchanging data and knowledge, joint planning, and integrated coordination throughout all phases of the KSIA project. It includes mechanisms for institutional alignment and sharing best practices in project management. Overcoming challenges and advancing sustainability initiatives while adhering to environmental standards are also key components.
