Kleindienst Group To Develop Floating Villas And Giga-Yacht In RAK

Dubai's landscape is set to embrace a revolutionary maritime project, thanks to a strategic partnership between the Kleindienst Group, a Dubai-based developer, and RAK Ports. This collaboration aims to establish a state-of-the-art maritime facility in Ras Al Khaimah for fabricating floating residences and a giga-yacht, marking a significant step in the UAE's maritime industry.

The facility will be divided into four distinct sections: Viking, Coral Garden, Tug, and Ferry. The Viking section is tasked with a groundbreaking project: the design and construction of a 144-m giga-yacht, setting a record as the first of its kind to be constructed outside Europe. This initiative places Ras Al Khaimah alongside prestigious giga-yacht building nations such as the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, and notably, as the first in the GCC region to undertake such an endeavor.

Currently, the global count of giga-yachts is under 100, highlighting the exclusivity and ambitious nature of this venture. Josef Kleindienst, the Group Founder and Chairman of Kleindienst Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, noting the strategic advantage of Ras Al Khaimah's location and its investment-friendly climate as key factors in the decision to establish the maritime facility there.

The Coral Garden section will pioneer the construction of The Heart of Europe's underwater living experiences, including the Floating Seahorse Villas and the Floating Venice resort, among others. This initiative aims to bring a unique marine and residential offering to the UAE, enhancing its global appeal.

The facility's Tug section will focus on expanding the group's fleet by constructing barges, supply, and transportation vessels. The ambitious plan includes more than doubling the current fleet, demonstrating a significant investment in the region's maritime capacity.

The Ferry section will concentrate on developing boats for passenger transportation, fishing, sailing, and diving. With the introduction of new reef areas in Dubai, this sector is anticipated to witness substantial growth, with an initial plan to construct approximately 200 boats.

RAK Ports CEO, Roy Anthony Cummins, highlighted the partnership's alignment with the vision to develop top-tier infrastructure and attract global enterprises to the region. The establishment of this maritime facility is expected to generate considerable economic and employment benefits for Ras Al Khaimah and the broader UAE.

Further enriching the project, the Kleindienst Group announced the upcoming launch of a Maritime Academy within the facility. This initiative will collaborate with the industry's leading professionals to ensure the highest standards of quality and expertise are met. The formation of a Supervisory Board comprising members with decades of experience in large-scale projects worldwide underscores the group's commitment to excellence.

Looking to the future, the Kleindienst Group is determined to explore further partnership opportunities, aiming to drive innovation and sustainability within the marine sector in the UAE and beyond. This ambitious project not only highlights the UAE's growing prominence in the global maritime industry but also its commitment to diversifying its economy and enhancing its status as a hub for luxury and innovation.
