Khalifa Fund Launches Registration For The 8th Venturist Summer Camp For Emirati Youth
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) is now accepting registrations for the 8th Venturist Summer Camp. This initiative is aimed at Emirati students aged 13 to 18. Scheduled from 7th to 11th July 2025, the camp will be held at the 42 Abu Dhabi headquarters in Zayed Port, Abu Dhabi. This unique camp focuses on empowering youth by enhancing their skills in technology and game development.
The programme is structured into two distinct pathways based on age groups. Students aged 13 to 15 will focus on building a solid foundation in programming and game development. Meanwhile, those aged 16 to 18 will delve into advanced concepts of game development and design. This approach ensures that participants receive age-appropriate training tailored to their developmental stage.

Participants will engage in a dynamic learning environment that combines education with recreation. The camp promotes teamwork and enhances team spirit while fostering entrepreneurial and creative thinking. Students are encouraged to develop innovative ideas and practical solutions that align with current market trends and demands, preparing them for future opportunities.
Under the guidance of specialised trainers, the camp aims to enhance students’ skills in programming and project development aspects. Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO of KFED, emphasised the camp's broader goals: "The camp is much more than just an educational programme, rather it aims to foster a dynamic environment that contributes to enhancing creativity, developing technical skills, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking, while enabling participants to gain game development experience."
This initiative aligns with KFED's vision of promoting innovation in Abu Dhabi, recognising its vital role in strengthening the small and medium-sized enterprise ecosystem within the realm of game development. The camp also prepares students for freelance work and future career opportunities in the gaming sector.
Since its inception in 2020, the summer camp has attracted participation from 750 Emirati students through its intensive training programmes. Participants have received prestigious training certificates from Stanford University, reflecting the high quality of education provided during the camp.
The Khalifa Fund encourages ambitious young minds residing in Abu Dhabi to seize this opportunity for an inspiring educational journey. Registrations remain open until 30th June 2025 for Emirati students aged between 13 and 18.
