This initiative, known as the "Business Opportunities in Priority Sectors" workshop series, is meticulously designed to align with global standards and focuses on empowering owners of existing businesses within Abu Dhabi's key sectors.
Set to commence on the 4th of March, the inaugural workshop will delve into the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Healthcare sectors. This educational endeavour is structured to span four days, offering up to 20 hours of comprehensive learning. It combines real-life case studies with interactive sessions, equipping participants with the necessary tools and insights to transform their ideas into successful ventures.

The first three days of the workshop will be conducted digitally to maximize accessibility and convenience for participants. The concluding day, however, will transition to an in-person format where attendees will have the opportunity to present their business ideas before a panel of industry experts and stakeholders.
Alia Abdulla Al Mazrouei, CEO of Khalifa Fund, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of the workshop series. She highlighted its significance as a dynamic platform that not only supports but also drives innovation and growth within Abu Dhabi's priority sectors. "At Khalifa Fund, we are committed to offering workshops that make a real impact and provide invaluable insights," Al Mazrouei stated. She further emphasized the initiative's role in shaping Abu Dhabi's entrepreneurial landscape in line with the emirate’s economic strategic objectives.
The workshop series is designed to offer participants a unique chance to refine their business models and pitch their ideas to leading experts in the field. It aims to provide insights into market trends and regional dynamics, thereby fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This aligns perfectly with Abu Dhabi's strategic vision of tapping into the potential of startups and SMEs within its priority sectors.
Khalifa Fund is calling on Emirati entrepreneurs with businesses in the ICT and healthcare sectors to seize this transformative learning opportunity. Following a thorough assessment process, 50 qualified candidates will be selected to partake in this enriching experience.
