Khalifa Fund And ADGM Academy Launch Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp For Emirati Entrepreneurs

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, in partnership with ADGM Academy, has initiated the "Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp" to support Emirati entrepreneurs and boost innovation in Al Ain. Starting on 24th November 2025 at MZN Hub Al Ain, this programme gathers UAE Nationals with innovative ideas and a strong drive to make a difference.

Over five days, participants will engage in workshops, mentorship sessions, and sector-specific challenges to speed up their entrepreneurial journey. They will gain hands-on experience in business modelling, team building, prototyping, and pitching. The bootcamp targets key sectors like agriculture, AgriTech, light manufacturing, tourism, culture, cybersecurity, AI, and applied technologies.

Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp Empowers Emirati Entrepreneurs

Khalifa Saeed Al Kuwaiti of the Khalifa Fund stated that Al Ain holds great potential. He said: "Through Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp, we are proud to support Emirati entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, guidance, and access to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We aim to empower homegrown talent to transform their ideas into impactful ventures." This initiative aims to foster innovation and create opportunities contributing to Abu Dhabi's knowledge-based economy.

The programme is backed by government support and academic excellence from ADGM Academy. It also involves strategic industry partnerships aimed at creating new opportunities for UAE Nationals. This effort marks a significant step in advancing the UAE’s entrepreneurial goals while aligning with the nation's vision for a competitive and diversified economy.

Ali Al Mehairi from ADGM Academy highlighted the importance of investing in human capital and innovation through this bootcamp. He commented: "The Ruwad Al Ain Bootcamp reflects ADGM Academy’s ongoing investment in human capital and innovation. By empowering Emiratis with practical tools, mentorship, and access to funding, we are helping transform ideas into impactful ventures that support the nation’s long-term vision."

The bootcamp concludes with a Demo Day where participants present their business solutions to experts. The top three teams will receive AED50,000 in milestone-based pre-seed funding along with mentorship and access to MZN Hub's resources. All participants will earn a certificate recognising their efforts.

This initiative not only supports emerging entrepreneurs but also aligns with Al Ain's economic growth areas. By focusing on strategic sectors such as agriculture and industrial innovation, it helps drive meaningful change within the community.
