Khalifa Fund To Support Emirati Businesses At Abu Dhabi's ADIHEX 2024
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is backing seven Emirati businesses, giving them a platform to display their offerings at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024. This annual event at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre underscores the Fund’s dedication to empowering Emirati SMEs and boosting their brand visibility locally and internationally.
Mouza Obaid Al Nuaimi, Acting CEO of Khalifa Fund, stated, "In addition to offering funding programmes to established and startup SMEs, Khalifa Fund provides a range of non-financial support services within its valuable entrepreneurial membership programme, including participation in leading local and international exhibitions and tradeshows. We are committed to regularly participating in ADIHEX and arranging space for Emirati businesses within our pavilion, allowing them to promote their innovative services and products to a wider audience."

The businesses showcased at the Khalifa Fund pavilion span various sectors such as food and beverage, personal services, retail, and construction. Ultra Marine, a UAE-based company trading boats, yachts, water ski boards, sportswear, and fishing apparel is among them. Al Ain Al Fania Weapon Repair Workshop offers comprehensive military weapons maintenance solutions including spare parts, shooting range upkeep, and R&D in the arms sector.
Le Papillon Handicrafts is also featured for its handmade items with framed taxidermied butterflies. Khalaf Al Mazrouei Falcon Food Trading supplies specialised food for zoo animals and aquarium fish. During hunting season, it provides highly trained hunting falcons to falconers across the GCC. Alshawamekh Trip Supplies specialises in equipment for outdoor adventures and trips.
Al Suwaidi Equestrian Equipment Trading offers all equestrian sports equipment and horse feed. Coffee Architecture is a specialty coffee shop whose owner has won championships in coffee preparation and tasting both locally and internationally. These diverse businesses reflect the wide array of sectors supported by the Khalifa Fund.
Al Nuaimi added that ADIHEX serves as more than just a product showcase; it is a strategic platform for enhancing local brand visibility. It helps forge new business partnerships and drives growth both domestically and regionally. By facilitating business participation, they aim to highlight Emirati entrepreneurial creativity while showcasing SME product quality on local and global stages.
