Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Partners With Indonesia To Enhance Technical Education
The UAE and Indonesia have taken a significant step towards enhancing educational collaboration. In a recent event attended by Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, and H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a Letter of Intent was signed. This agreement aims to boost technical education within Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Education.
Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, representing the UAE, and Kamaruddin Amin from Indonesia formalised this partnership. The initiative seeks to integrate the Alef educational platform into both religious and public education systems in Indonesia. This collaboration will focus on subjects like Arabic, English, and mathematics while also providing classroom setup services and instructional support.

The agreement is designed to meet the needs of over half a million students in Indonesia's growing education sector. It also includes continuous professional development for teachers and data-driven performance analysis to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Representatives from Indonesia expressed gratitude for the UAE's ongoing support across various fields. They highlighted that this letter signifies the deep strategic partnership between the two nations. The integration of advanced educational solutions is expected to improve learning environments for both teachers and students.

Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, noted that this letter is part of broader cooperation agreements between the two countries. Mohammed Haji Al Khouri emphasised that this initiative aligns with the UAE's humanitarian mission inspired by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s legacy.
